Queen of Swords Media was launched in 2018 by Chelsea Tobin. The name “Queen of Swords Media” was inspired by the tarot card of the same name. This card represents razor-sharp communication, strength, intellect, quick-thinking, and honesty.

Hi, I’m Chelsea. Over the past 9+ years, I’ve worked in marketing roles for major New Zealand companies, as well as working with a larger agency as a Social Media Manager for large household name clients. And then, there’s my Queen of Swords Media clients – hailing from industries ranging from recruitment, to real estate, software, signage, cafés, music artists, home improvement and even a drama school. I’ve helped small family-owned businesses with their Facebook pages and C-suite level executives with their LinkedIn profiles. Many of these have turned into long-term working relationships.

Pre-Covid, I successfully ran a popular travel blog called Free Range Kiwi Chick. It got me featured in the NZ Herald.

I’m also a graduate of Bachelor of Business (Marketing major) and Bachelor of Communication Studies (Professional Communication major) conjoint degrees from Auckland University of Technology.

When I’m not immersed in the world of marketing, you can find me doing voice over work or acting in a local theatre production!
