About Me | Chelsea Tobin

Hi! I’m Chelsea Tobin, the founder and director of Queen of Swords Media Limited. I love helping businesses build a powerful online presence through strategic digital and content marketing. I’m here to help you build brand awareness, drive traffic, leads, and sales.

In addition to freelancing, I’ve held marketing roles at corporate companies and advertising agencies in New Zealand. I’ve seen it all: national brands with seemingly limitless ad budgets, and small family-run businesses just starting out on their social media journey.

The name “Queen of Swords Media” was inspired by the tarot card of the same name. This card represents razor-sharp communication, strength, intellect, quick-thinking, and honesty.

I’ve been published in various online publications, such as Forbes. I love to write about business, marketing, and freelance life. Pre-COVID, I successfully ran a travel blog called Free Range Kiwi Chick. It got me featured in the NZ Herald.

I hold a Bachelor of Business (Marketing major) and a Bachelor of Communication Studies (Professional Communication major) from the Auckland University of Technology. Currently I’m a member of the Marketing Association of NZ.

Being creative at work and in life is important to me. So when I’m not immersed in marketing, you can find me freelancing as a voice over artist or acting in a local theatre show!
