Give Your Home Office a Whimsical Makeover With These 7 Cute Amazon Finds

Despite the pandemic being a distant memory, remote and hybrid work are still very much here to stay. In fact, around 21.7% of US employees worked remotely (at least partially) in June 2026. As for myself, I’ve been working remotely (whether as a freelancer or an employee) ever since that first call to stay home in 2020. This means I spend a LOT of time in my home office.

You may think I get tired of seeing the same four walls nearly every day for six years. But you know what helps me get through the grind? A little smidge of whimsy and magic.

Yep: cute, whimsical items that help make the commute from bedroom to desk even easier than it already is. Here are a few super cute Amazon finds that you should totally add to your office for an extra bit of magic. Ya know, as a treat.

Chipmunk Decorative Vase ($79)

What’s a whimsical home office without the most adorable woodland creature flower vase? This darling chipmunk will hold your precious flower pickings all day. Better yet – you can give him some friends and buy a set of three. It’s small, but it’s sure to bring a smile to your dial during yet another tedious Teams call that should’ve been an email.

Your Heart’s Content Velvet Mushrooms Shelf Sitters ($29.99)

Every whimsical home office needs something mushroom-shaped that has zero practical purpose except for the contentment of your own heart. These mushroom shelf sitters do exactly that – just sit around and look cute. Better yet, they’re handcrafted and you can get them in many different colors. Put some on your desk, shelves, and that pile of stationery that you should’ve cleared out months ago. #winning

Steel Mill & Co Book-Shaped Decorative Ceramic Planter ($34)

Indoor plants are the absolute bare minimum in a vibey, whimsical home office. So why not take it a step further and score these book-shaped ceramic planters? Featuring literary classics like Wuthering Heights, they’re the perfect fit for office-dwelling bookworms.

One happy Amazon customer says, “I absolutely adore this book pottery. Especially as a book lover and collector. It has the perfect depth and dimensions for plants. I look forward to seeing new creations in this style as I’m not much of a flower/vase kind of gal, but rather a plant gal. I will definitely be buying more. 10/10 recommend. Great quality, delivered quickly.”

Ceiba Tree Cute Floral Stationery Paper ($6.99)

A whimsical home office isn’t complete without a set of gorgeous stationery paper. Check out these floral ones from Celiba Tree – perfect for imitating Mrs Whistledown, or writing down your inner thoughts after a particularly frustrating team meeting.

HEYJEEPER The Pickles Tarot Card Wall Art ($12.99)

Every whimsical office needs wall art. And what’s better than tarot… but with a pickle? This Tarot Card Wall Art from HEYJEPPERS meets the assignment beautifully. An Amazon customer says “It’s funny, vibrant, and full of personality. I especially appreciate that it comes ready to hang with the wooden hangers already attached—sometimes you have to buy those separately, so this is a nice bonus. The quality feels great too, with a sturdy canvas and a nice textured feel. Overall, it’s a cheerful, whimsical piece that we both love.”

Dark Academia Dragonfly Floral Pen Holder ($16.99)

Keep your stationery organized and looking fly (see what I did there?) with this dragonfly pen holder. Large enough to hold your entire collection of pens you kept from high school, small enough not to take up your entire desk.
