Looking for a social media scheduling tool where you can schedule posts and monitor all your social channels in one place?
You’re not alone!
This is a query I come across all the time. Business owners, agencies, even social media managers themselves, asking:
- What social media scheduling tools are out there?
- What one will be the best for me?
- What one has the best features?
- ..But still fits into my budget?
The truth is, there are dozens of these tools out there. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, so I can’t give you a definitive answer, sorry. (And I’m still trying them all out, too!)
But what I will do is give you a list of some of the most popular schedulers (including my favorites), so you can research for yourself the one that may be the best fit for you.
There is varying pricing with all these schedulers – of course due to the varying breadth of features involved in each (some have FREE versions with limited features). Some do very well with analytics reporting, some do not. Some do very well with monitoring and engagement, some do not. And please note: some schedulers work with all major social media platforms, but some may only work with 2 or 3.
When choosing what one will work best for you, it all comes down to your needs as a business owner.
So without further ado, here are some of the best schedulers available today (in no particular order):
An oldie but a goody, Hootsuite is a stock standard favorite for many organisations. This is a good place to start if you’re new to schedulers and want to do a bit of shopping around first. This was the first one I ever used way back when, so I have a bit of a soft spot for it.
Another hugely popular platform that. Simple and affordable. You can’t go wrong if you’re not looking for all the super impressive, high-tech features you might find in schedulers like Sprout Social.
My personal favorite (for Instagram). Not only can you schedule posts, but you can preview what your Instagram feed is going to look like. And you can schedule them all on your desktop. So handy!
I’m currently using this for the work I do with another agency, and it’s certainly got lots of pros to it! Although it has a higher monthly price tag, it’s got some pretty powerful features that works well for larger businesses or teams that have more than one person working on the social media.
I’m really really keen to give this one a try (watch this space). It’s meant to give Sprout Social a run for its money (literally – it’s got similar powerful features, but it’s more affordable for the little guy).
Just made for Instagram, Planoly was the first platform to offer a preview of your feed. If you’re looking for a scheduler just for Insta, it’s meant to be very good!
This is just for Pinterest and Twitter – but probably the most comprehensive Pinterest scheduler available.
Meant to be good, but I’m yet to try! Again it’s a bit more on the higher price side of things, but you can integrate Canva… and it has suggested content… it’s won some awards… Mmmmm
And last, but not least… Facebook! This sort of goes against the whole idea of this blog post, but I also like to schedule Facebook posts natively on its own platform when needed. The more you know!
What social media scheduling tools are you currently using? What ones are your favorites? Let me know!
